Our Mission is to improve the independent motor vehicle industry by informing and educating consumers of the general public and training individuals associated with our industry.

The Foundation was formed in 2006 by the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association, which is a 61 year old organization. Although the Foundation has been a functioning entity for only a short period of time, it has developed extensive plans to accomplish its mission. The scholarship program has grown, availability of educational web-based videos has been expanded, and additional videos targeting the industry's consumer will be developed as funding becomes available. Informational articles regarding industry related topics that are important to consumers are available on this website as are important links that educate and inform the general public.
